2014
The inaugural SOLID was an International Festival of the screen held in 2014.
SOLID Screen included a range of screenings from invited artists, that responded to important transformations that have reconfigured opportunities for experimental arts, remix and media arts practice, in recent times. The SOLID Screen Festival held on the 20th July 2014 screened works by women artists - it was open for the public, and also welcomed men, women and children. The interdisciplinary screen makers were practitioners from artforms such as animation, video, interactive media, photography, writing, performance and new media arts backgrounds.
